Description
Fitting onto your existing rear view mirror the design of this mirror meter will complement almost any taxi interior while keeping the dash free for other devices. The MR500 View taximeter was designed and tested to the Measurement Instruments Directive (MID) standards. To ensure quality is never compromised, each meter is manufactured to Quality Standard ISO9001.
Both the MR500 meter and MR500 View have a large internal memory that allows them to be programed with multiple tariffs and its advanced software allows it to be programed to facilitate almost any tariff requirements including a calendar-controlled area. This enhanced internal memory also allows an advanced totals options to be displayed on the meter. As a driver, having access to this kind of information enables you to compare the areas in which you drive and understand which areas are most profitable for your business.
All Cygnus meters come with an auto disable feature which can be used by meter owners that want to operate a meter rental model. By using this feature the meter will be disabled on a set date until a pin is input into the meter by the owner. Each meter also includes a pulse check feature, which allows a Cygnus dealer to find the meters pulse which is required for calibration, without removing any of the seals.
